ACTS (PART 21) — “DARING NEW ADVENTURES IN GENTILE LANDS”
Sunday Oct 02, 2022
Sunday Oct 02, 2022
After Cornelius received the Gospel in Acts 10-11 there appears to be a slow response by Christians in Jerusalem to engage in Gentile missions. But other Christian communities weren’t as lax. The Christians in Cyrene (North Africa) and those from the island of Cyprus began to send out missionaries to Gentile dense areas like the great city of Antioch. A mission greatly blessed by God! And once the great teachers like Saul of Tarsus and Barnabas got involved, the mission became even more blessed! Join us as we worship and continue our journey through Acts and learn to be bold and brave in our 'adventures' with Christ!

ACTS (PART 20) — ‘CHRIST HAS BROKEN DOWN EVERY WALL’
Sunday Sep 25, 2022
Sunday Sep 25, 2022
Once Peter arrives at Cornelius' house in Caesarea God does something remarkable—He pours out His Spirit on all the Gentiles even before Peter finishes preaching! In Acts 10-11, Simon Bar Jonah, becomes a greater ‘Jonah’ than the Old Testament prophet. He joyously preaches to the Gentiles and reports their conversion! Christ Jesus “has made Jews and Gentiles one… broken down the middle wall of separation… and granted us both access by one Spirit to the Father” (Ephesians 2). Join us as we worship and continue our journey through Acts!

THE GRAND VISION OF WORSHIP IN SCRIPTURE
Wednesday Sep 21, 2022
Wednesday Sep 21, 2022
While we will worship in song, today’s ‘worship night’ will primarily be focused on teaching about what worship is all about. God wove music and worship into the very fabric of His creation. Scripture teaches us there is true worship and false worship. True worship is in Spirit and Truth with the Lamb of God taking center stage. As we focus on who God is and magnify His Name we are engaging in an act of warfare in the heavenly places. Join the choirs of heaven and MCC tonight!

ACTS (PART 19) — THE SUPERNATURAL ENCOUNTERS OF CORNELIUS AND PETER
Sunday Sep 18, 2022
Sunday Sep 18, 2022
Acts 10 is one of the most pivotal chapters in the entire book. God sends an angel to a powerful Roman centurion and then just hours later gives Peter an ‘open heaven’ vision of a linen cloth descending from God’s presence filled with all sorts of clean and unclean animals. God wants the church to know that the Gospel is truly meant for ALL people—no exceptions! We must rid ourselves of fleshly traditions and superstitions and see things through the lens of Christ’s finished work on the cross. There are many important lessons to learn from both Cornelius and Peter today! Join us!

ANSWER THE CALL
Sunday Sep 04, 2022
Sunday Sep 04, 2022
The Creator of all things has trusted you and me with extraordinarily important assignments! And our most important assignment from heaven is to be a witness for Jesus to those around us! As we've been going through Acts we've seen that Philip and Saul both took their calling to be a 'witness' for Christ very seriously. Mark Gershick, the pastor of our men’s ministry, will be breaking down these stories even more as he encourages us to apply evangelistic principles to our own lives. For nothing is more important than leading others to our Magnificent Savior. Join us as we worship!

ACTS (PART 17) ’ENCOUNTERING THE RISEN CHRIST’
Sunday Aug 28, 2022
Sunday Aug 28, 2022
In Acts 9 we encounter a man named Saul for a second time. Saul was a young rising star in the Pharisaical movement. A man who played a pivotal role in the stoning of Stephen (Acts 7:58). Well, in Acts 9 we are told that Saul was still “breathing out threat and murder” against the church. But Jesus had a different plan for Saul. He had a “suddenly” moment prepared for him! And through this encounter with the grace of God in Christ Jesus Saul would never be the same! He would become the great apostle Paul—a mighty ambassador of Christ to the nations! Join us as we worship our wonderful Savior and marvel at the glories of His magnificent grace!
