One theme woven throughout Scripture is that God carries His people in His hands. God says, “Even to your old age, I am He, and even to gray hairs I will carry you! I have made, and I will bear; even I will carry, and will deliver you!” (Isaiah 46:4) Jesus declared concerning His sheep, “I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand” (John 10:28). Join us as we worship the Lord and begin the New Year confidently knowing God is with us and for us, and desires for us to fearlessly move forward in faith!

Join us as we begin a new series on Proverbs for our Wednesday Bible Study! Tonight is an introduction to Proverbs. What a ‘proverb' is. Who the authors of Proverbs are. What the structure of Proverbs teaches us. What the primary theme of Proverbs is. How we are to approach the various styles of poetry that undergird the different types of proverbs in the book. How Solomon’s life is connected to the book. And ultimately how the church applied Proverbs to their own living and growth in godliness. This truly is a RICH BOOK OF WISDOM what will greatly benefit all who will spend time with it!

 

Tucked inside the long genealogical records of Chronicles is small but mighty prayer! By a man named Jabez. A name that means "pain." Though this man's life was full of pain he did not allow his past to define him. Rather, he turned to God in faith! He turned to God in prayer! And God blessed him in a BIG TIME way. Join us as we seek to incorporate truths from Jabez's story and prayer into our own life and prayers. Let's believe God together for our lives to be a signpost of His mighty blessing as we journey into the new year!

Join us as we celebrate the birth of baby in Bethlehem! A baby who is called JESUS, who is termed a SAVIOR, who is called CHRIST, who is declared to be GOD WITH US, and who also was prophesied to simply be called WONDERFUL! As we receive the good news of great joy about who the baby for us is were truly have reason to rejoice and be glad! 

The angel Gabriel said this concerning the baby who would be conceived in Mary’s womb, “He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Highest; and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David. And He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of His kingdom there will be no end” (Luke 1:32-33). Join us as we unpack more truths of what it means for Jesus to be the Son of David, the New and Greater Solomon, who will reign forever and ever!

The book of Colossians instructs us, “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord” (Col. 3:16). Join us this Sunday as we worship the Lord and see how this verse comes alive in many different ways in the Christmas Story! Especially in the lives of Mary, Zechariah, and the heavenly angelic host!

Join us as we take a journey through the Gospel of Matthew and unpack powerful truths of what it means for Jesus to be the Son of the Highest AND the Son of David who will reign forever and ever! 

n the last chapter of 2 Timothy Paul encourages his beloved son in the faith to be a steady influence of godly doctrine and living amidst the crooked world. He knows his “departure” to heaven is at hand and he looks forward the “crown of righteousness” he will receive upon crossing the finish line. At the end of the letter Paul highlights 16 different individuals who were either headed in a positive or negative direction in life. This chapter can shed much light on our own life and walk with the Lord. Let’s run in the direction where we will be able to say with Paul, “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith!” (1 Tim. 4:7)

Paul, knowing his death was near, wrote one final letter to his son in the faith, Timothy. In the third chapter of 2 Timothy Paul warns Timothy concerning perilous times and perilous men. He also encourages him to continue to grow in the Scriptures. These Scriptures Paul describes as being "God breathed" and exceedingly profitable for the Christian (2 Tim. 3:16). Join us as we worship the Lord and are built up by the Word of God!

Paul, knowing his death was near, wrote one final letter to his son in the faith, Timothy. In the second chapter of 2 Timothy Paul encourages Timothy to be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus! He gives three very helpful images of what Christian life and ministry is like: the military, professional athletics, and farming. He called on Timothy to remember that Jesus was Risen and Reigning. And ultimately, he exhorted Timothy to be diligent to study the Bible and properly interpret it for the edification of the church. A very encouraging chapter that can help all Christians be witnesses for Christ!
