THE KINGDOM OF GOD — BEWARE OF FALSE PROPHETS

Jesus has just finished with the ‘meat’ of His sermon. He closes His sermon with warnings about how to identify false prophets and teachers—wolves who would attempt to enter into His sheepfold and devour His precious sheep for profit or notoriety. False teachers who would direct the hearts of His people somewhere else than what He had just taught them about His kingdom. Who would even attempt to dazzle them with signs. Jesus warns us to stay on the narrow path and not be led astray by others.

THE KINGDOM OF GOD — THE IMPORTANCE OF PRAYER & THE GOLDEN RULE

Toward the end of the Sermon on the Mount Jesus reiterated the importance of prayer. He declared, “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.” Join us as we dig into why prayer is so important and how we can learn from the prayer life of Jesus to do what He instructed us here in this sermon. Also, we will unpack Christ’s summary of what He had been teaching throughout the sermon, what many call the Golden Rule: “whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them.” Join us!

BIBLE STUDY—THE BOOK OF JUDGES

This evening we will be delving into the book of Judges. Twelve savior figures that God raised up in the history of Israel. From Othniel to Samson. Many of these figures are pictures of Christ’s victory over the enemy on our behalf. We need to be taught holy war. We need to be taught how to be good soldiers of Christ. Join us!

THE KINGDOM OF GOD — JUDGMENTALISM AND HYPOCRISY

“Judge not, that you be not judged.” This is a very popular verse from Jesus’ first kingdom sermon. What does it mean? How does this verse practically play out in the lives of Christ’s people? How can we people who are not hypocrites like the Pharisees, but rather genuine like Jesus? Join us as we dig into the first six verses of the last chapter of the ‘Sermon on the Mount.’

BIBLE STUDY—DEUTERONOMY AND JOSHUA

Our midweek bible study this year has been a survey of the Old Testament. We are utilizing a book titled A House For My Name to guide our discussions. This evening we will be delving into the biblical books of Deuteronomy and Joshua. These books speak about a very important seven year period in Israel’s history—Moses passing the baton to Joshua and Joshua leading the conquest of the Promised Land. Join us!

EASTER SUNDAY—THE RISEN ONE KNOWS NO BOUNDS

Though fully physical, Christ’s resurrected state is a higher order of physicality. One fully free from corruption. A physicality unweighted by sin and decay. A physicality fully animated with the Spirit. This risen human nature of Jesus is one that knows no bounds! One that can come into any quarantined environment, uninvited! One that wants to invade our six foot spacing, breathe all over us, and fill us with new creation life! Join us!

GOOD FRIDAY — DELIVERED FROM THE FEAR OF DEATH

There is great fear of death in the world right now. This fear is at a higher level than I have ever witnessed. It is fear of an invisible enemy. A fear that a virus might be lurking on everything we touch and every air molecule we breathe. It is a fear that if this virus infects us, we could die. This morning, I want to make it absolutely clear, that because of GOOD FRIDAY, the Christian is to have a complete absence of the fear of death! Christ has trampled down death by death! Join us!

MAUNDY THURSDAY — NO GREATER LOVE

“A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another.” What is “new” about Jesus’ new commandment? How does our love rise to the level of the love of Jesus Christ? What is so significant about Jesus washing our feet and feeding us a Meal? Join us as we dig into some of the powerful truths Jesus taught right before He was betrayed into the hands of sinners! Truths we can rely on completely!

PALM SUNDAY—FOUR DIFFERENT RESPONSES TO KING JESUS

We will be looking at Palm Sunday from a parabolic perspective this morning. There were four different responses to the triumphal entry of Christ into Jerusalem. Four different mindsets. Four different approaches to His triumphal entry. These responses are similar to the four different kinds of soil in Jesus’ Parable of the Sower. Join us as we learn to respond to King Jesus *properly* and learn how to best usher His presence into our lives! Jesus is King! He wants to have influence in our personal ‘Jerusalems’ today!
