ACTS (PART 36) — FRESH PENTECOST CAUSES SOCIETAL STIR!
Sunday May 28, 2023
Sunday May 28, 2023
Join us for Pentecost Sunday as we continue our journey through Acts! We will be looking at the end of Paul's ministry in Ephesus. A fresh Pentecostal work of the Spirit in that city brought such a radical transformation to the social structure that the kingdom of darkness began to lose its grip! So the devil began to push back! The key for the Christian when this happens is to not get caught up in the devil’s frenzy, but rather trust the Lord to continue to have His way!

ACTS (PART 35) — GOD’S MIGHTY WORK IN EPHESUS
Sunday May 21, 2023
Sunday May 21, 2023
oin us as we continue our journey through Acts! We will be looking at Paul’s three years of ministry in the large city of Ephesus. It was a time of daily dedication to teaching God's Word in a Bible School like atmosphere, a time of "unusual miracles", a time of spiritual warfare, and a time when an entire Roman province began to turn to the Lord and demonstrated their allegiance to Jesus through some radical acts of renunciation of their past practices! Many lessons to learn and be encouraged by!

ACTS (PART 35) — STRONG IN THE LORD
Sunday May 14, 2023
Sunday May 14, 2023
Join us as we continue our journey through Acts! We will be looking at how God desires all of His people to be “strengthened” in His might! A great example of one who was strong in the Lord is Apollos. He was “mighty in the Scriptures” and “fervent in spirit.” He also “taught accurately the things of the Lord” and “helped those who had believed through grace” even being able to “vigorously oppose” those who stood against the Gospel. We too are called to be “strong in the Lord and the power of His might” like Apollos!

Wednesday May 10, 2023
Join us for our Midweek Bible Study. We will be digging into 1 Corinthians. In this letter Paul deal with many different problems that confronted Christians in Corinth. What becomes very clear is that the church has never been perfect. We are constantly in need of God's grace and instruction. We will be looking at the theme of unity and offense, the theme of the use of the law, and the theme of the church.

BIBLE STUDY — “ETERNITY IN THEIR HEARTS”
Sunday May 07, 2023
Sunday May 07, 2023
Join us for our Midweek Bible Study! We will be looking at the work of a missionary named Don Richardson. In his book, Eternity in Their Hearts, he relates dozens of examples of God not leaving Himself "without witness" in primitive cultures (Acts 14:17). We will look at the Incas of South America, the Santal of eastern India, the Gedeo people of Ethiopia, the Mbaka of Central Africa, the Karen of Burma, the Chinese writing system, and more! God truly has been at work in every culture preparing them to receive the Gospel of His Son! When missionaries are able to find these contact points with the Gospel great numbers of baptisms and conversions take place!

ACTS (PART 33) - FEAR NOT! GOD IS WITH YOU!
Sunday May 07, 2023
Sunday May 07, 2023
Join us as we worship and continue our journey through Acts! We will be looking at Paul's time spent in Corinth at the end of his 2nd missionary journey. He spends 18 months there. Why? Because Jesus showed up in a night vision and said, "Do not be afraid, but speak, and do not keep silent; for I am with you, and no one will attack you to hurt you; for I have many people in this city.” (Acts 18:9-10) Jesus also wants YOU and ME to fearlessly move forward in faith, knowing He is WITH us!

ACTS (PART 32) — PAUL AMONG THE PAGAN PHILOSOPHERS
Sunday Apr 30, 2023
Sunday Apr 30, 2023
We have been looking at Paul’s ministry in modern day Greece where has has been traveling from city to city preaching the Gospel and establishing churches. Well, after being driven by persecution out of Berea, Paul makes it to the intellectual capital of the ancient world, Athens. While there he is brought before a prominent council of philosophers on Mars Hill. The way Paul shares the Gospel with these men is by finding a “point of contact” with them before launching into Jesus and the resurrection. Some believe, some want to hear more, and others scoff. There are many important lessons we in 21st century American can learn from Paul’s time in this culture that was saturated with idolatry and pagan philosophy. Join us!

ACTS (PART 31) — LEARNING FROM PAUL’S TIME IN THESSALONICA AND BEREA
Sunday Apr 23, 2023
Sunday Apr 23, 2023
After establishing a thriving church in Philippi, Paul and his missionary team travelled to Thessalonica. The church community they established there ended up being very significant, as Paul would write two letters to them a year later. Many who received the Gospel message "in faith" saw it “work effectively” in them! Later, after being driven out by persecution, Paul settled down in Berea. It is there that many Jews came to faith because they “searched the Scriptures daily” to find out if what Paul taught about Jesus being the Messiah was true. These Christians are great examples for you and me! We should be people who “search the Scriptures” and “mix our faith” with them when we see the truths about Jesus! Join us as we worship!

THE SAME JESUS
Sunday Apr 16, 2023
Sunday Apr 16, 2023
What Jesus showed us after His resurrection is that He has not changed! In the words of Hebrews, “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever” (Heb. 13:8). He shows His disciples the Same Wounds. He charges His disciples with the Same Mission. He imparts to His disciples the Same Power. And He assures His disciples of the Same Presence. Let us remember that the Risen One who Reigns Forever does not change! The Same Jesus is with you and me today! Let us worship!

CHRIST’S FINAL WORDS FROM THE CROSS
Friday Apr 07, 2023
Friday Apr 07, 2023
Join us as we worship the Crucified King and hear the final words that He declared over the world. Each word portrays an important truth about the character of Christ and why He laid down He life for our eternal redemption. When we truly grasp the significance of these words, and see why our Savior had to hang on that cursed tree 2,000 years ago, we can begin to understand why Christians call this day 'Good Friday’ rather than 'Bad Friday'. “The message of the cross", the Good News, the Gospel of God, is what the world needs to hear!
