JESUS'S LAST KINGDOM DISCOURSE

In Matthew 23-25 Jesus gives his fifth and last kingdom discourse in the Gospel. It is related to the fifth epoch in Israel's history--the destruction of the temple and the emergence of a new kingdom order. Jesus gives us much to ponder in terms of what healthy kingdom leadership looks like, what it means to be sheltered from the storms of this world, and also how we are to look in anticipation for the fulness of His kingdom at the consummation of history.
