ACTS (PART 14) — THE TESTIMONY OF STEPHEN

In Acts 7 Stephen stands before the Sanhedrin and delivers the longest speech in the entire book. He shows how Jesus was rejected by His own people just like Joseph, Moses, and the prophets. He refutes the testimony of the false witnesses by showing how he has great respect for the law of Moses—even calling the law “living oracles.” What lessons can we learn from this man who was “full of faith” and who fearlessly testified before the greatest leaders of his day?
