ACTS (PART 12) — THE UNSTOPPABLE RISEN LORD

After God worked many mighty miracles through the hands of the apostles, they were arrested and brought before the Jewish High Court. What happened? Well, God's angels protected them! And God even raised up a prominent council member to argue on their behalf. He told his fellow council members who wanted to kill the apostles, "If it is of God, you cannot overthrow it—lest you even be found to fight against God" (Acts 5:39). Christ is ultimately victorious!
